Welcome to Hubhobux. The most assiduous player and editor full of tips here once again. If you are trying to hit Wave 100+ in Infinite Mode to farm those delicious Traits and Gems, you can’t just slap down any Mythic and hope for the best.
In January 2026, the Anime Defenders meta has hardened. With the recent updates (including the Christmas/New Year patches), the gap between “good” units and “god” units is massive. For Infinite Mode specifically, raw DPS isn’t enough—you need Status Effects (Slow/Freeze), Range, and Money Scaling.
Here is the definitive Tier List of the units you actually need to survive the leaderboard runs this month.
👑 The “God” Tier (Must-Haves for Wave 80+)
These units are the backbone of any serious Infinite run. If you don’t have them, you are likely capping out at Wave 60.

| Stage Diva | Secret Farm | The new queen of economy. She outperforms Pink Rockstar significantly at max upgrades. In Infinite, money = upgrades = survival. She is expensive to trade for, but worth every Gem. |

Pro Tip: Do not bring Shadow Dragon without a Range trait (like Precision or Hunter). His base range is good, but with buffs, he covers half the map.
⚔️ S-Tier (The “Carry” Units)
If you don’t have the Secret units above, these are your best Mythic alternatives.
- Curse Prince (Jujutsu): Incredible bleed damage and AoE. He pairs perfectly with a “Slow” unit because his Domain Expansion hits multiple times.
- Golden Adult (Gon): Still a beast for raw single-target damage. He is your dedicated “Boss Killer” if you lack Dragon Mage.
- Chance Taker (Hakari): RNG-dependent, but when he hits his jackpot invincibility/buff mode, he out-damages almost everyone. Just don’t rely on him as your only DPS.
- Garcia (Red One Event): If you managed to grab him during the Winter Event, his Freeze capability is a fantastic (and cheaper) alternative to Demon King.
💸 Support & Farm Tier List (Economy is Life)
You cannot win Infinite Mode broke. You need at least 2 farm units in your loadout until Wave 20.

❄️ The “Stall” Meta (Crowd Control)
In Infinite Mode, enemies eventually get so much HP that you can’t one-shot them. You have to Slow them down.
- Ice Admiral: The budget king of slow. His AoE freeze is consistent and easy to place.
- Dark Revenant: Provides a massive slow debuff. He is harder to get but arguably better than Ice Admiral for late-game stall because of his damage output.
🧬 Best Traits for Infinite Mode
A unit is only as good as its Trait. If you are rerolling Crystal Shards, aim for these:
- Almighty: The #1 Trait. It lowers placement cost and increases the placement limit. Having 4 Dragon Mages instead of 1 is a game-changer.
- Requiem: Increases stats massively at the cost of nothing. Pure power.
- Precision: Critical Chance + Range. Critical hits are essential for cutting through Boss HP bars.
💡 Infinite Mode Strategy: The “First 10 Waves”
Most runs die early because of greed. Here is the script:
- Waves 1-5: Place ONLY your Farm Unit (Pink Rockstar/Stage Diva). Do not place a DPS yet. Let your base tank a few hits if needed.
- Wave 6: Place one cheap AoE unit (like Curse Prince) to clear the buildup.
- Wave 10+: Max out your farms immediately. Do not upgrade your DPS past level 3 until your economy is maxed.
