The Strongest Battlegrounds Combo Guide – Saitama & Garou Mechanics

In The Strongest Battlegrounds (TSB), spamming buttons gets you killed. If you want to survive in a public server—or worse, a Ranked 1v1—you need Combos.

In January 2026, the meta is all about “Extension Tech” and “Ragdoll Canceling.” If you drop your combo, your opponent will wake up and one-shot you.

Here is the master class on how to play the two most popular characters: Saitama (Bald Hero) and Garou (Hero Hunter).

🥊 Input Key Legend (Read This First)

Before we start, learn the language of TSB players:

  • M1: Left Mouse Click (Basic Attack).
  • Dash: Q + WASD.
  • Downslam: Jumping and hitting M1 at the peak to slam the enemy into the ground.
  • Uppercut: Holding Space + M1 to launch them.
  • Ragdoll: When the enemy is lying on the ground.

👊 Saitama (Bald Hero): The “One-Touch” King

Saitama isn’t about fancy movement; he is about raw damage. If you catch someone without a dash, they should lose 60% of their HP.

The “Bread & Butter” Combo (Reliable)

  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Damage: High
  • The Steps:
    1. 3x M1 (Don’t do the 4th hit yet).
    2. Shove (Skill 2) immediately to stun them.
    3. Dash Forward instantly.
    4. 3x M1.
    5. Consecutive Punches (Skill 1).
    6. Forward Dash (Wait 0.5s for them to fly back).
    7. Uppercut (Skill 3) to finish.

Why it works: Shove resets the M1 string. You get 6 free hits plus two skills.

The “Downslam” Tech (Advanced)

  • Difficulty: Hard
  • The Steps:
    1. 3x M1.
    2. Uppercut (Skill 3).
    3. Jump + Dash Forward (Mid-air).
    4. Downslam (M1) immediately as you land on them.
    5. Normal Punch (Skill 1) while they are on the ground.

🐺 Garou (Hero Hunter): The Combo God

Garou is harder to play but has the best flow in the game. His moves allow you to drag enemies across the entire map.

The “Flowing Water” Loop

  • Difficulty: Medium
  • The Steps:
    1. 3x M1.
    2. Flowing Water (Skill 1).
      • Tech: Do not just press 1. Turn your camera 180 degrees during the move to slam them behind you.
    3. Turn around + Dash Forward.
    4. 3x M1.
    5. Hunter’s Grasp (Skill 3).
    6. Downslam (Jump + M1).
    7. Prey’s Peril (Skill 2) while they are grounded.

The “Side Dash” Tech

Garou mains never dash backward. They dash sideways.

  • The Move: When an enemy attacks, use Q + A (Left) or Q + D (Right) and immediately turn your camera to face their side profile.
  • Why: This puts you behind their block. You get a free M1 combo starter.

🥋 Universal Tech: “M1 Canceling”

If you want to look like a pro in 2026, you need to learn to cancel your M1 animation.

  • What it is: Using a movement key or a block to stop the lag after a punch.
  • How to do it:
    • Hit M1.
    • Instantly tap Block (F) and let go.
    • Hit M1 again.
  • Benefit: It makes your punches come out faster than the game normally allows. It wins “M1 clashes.”

💀 Ultimate Guide: Serious Mode vs. Cosmic Fear

When you pop Ult (G), the game changes.

Saitama: Serious Mode

  • Table Flip: Do NOT use this randomly. It’s easy to dodge. Use it after a Downslam. If they are on the ground, they cannot run away from the debris.
  • Death Counter: Only use this if you know they are aggressive. If they hit you, they die instantly.

Garou: Monster / Cosmic Mode

  • Atmospheric Fist: This has huge AoE (Area of Effect). Use it when the enemy is cornered against a wall.
  • Portal Abuse: Use his portals to attack from above. Most players don’t look up.

💡Pro Tip

Don’t Mash the 4th M1. The 4th hit of your basic attack knocks the enemy back (Ragdoll). Never do the 4th hit unless you are finishing a combo. Always stop at 3 Hits. This keeps the enemy standing and stunned, allowing you to use your Skills (1, 2, 3) to extend the pain.
