In Royale High, you aren’t rich until you have a floating ring of light above your head.
Halos are the ultimate status symbol. They are won from the Fountain (pure luck) or traded for millions of Diamonds. But the economy is terrifying. One day a halo is worth 2 Million Diamonds, the next day it drops to 1.5 Million. If you don’t know your values, you will trade a Witching Hour 2022 for a Spring 2020 and lose enough diamonds to buy a real-life car.
In January 2026, the market is fluctuating wildly after the Glitterfrost (Winter) event. Here is the definitive Tier List based on Traderie and Community Value.
💎 How Value is Calculated
Before looking at the list, understand Mal’s Law (named after the famous tier-list maker):
- Rarity (Wins): How many people won it from the fountain? (Lower wins = Higher price).
- Appearance: Does it look good? (Witching Hour is huge and spins; Spring 2020 is small and static).
- Demand: Do people actually want to wear it?
👑 S-Tier (The “God” Halos)
These are the most expensive items in the game. You generally need 3+ Million Diamonds or multiple lower-tier halos to get one.

💖 A-Tier (High Tiers)
These are wealthy status symbols, just not quite “God” level.
- Valentine’s 2021: The classic high-tier. The heart design is timeless. (~3M)
- Lucky 2021: Very spiky and bright. It fluctuates between High and Mid tier depending on the season. (~2.2M)
- Autumn 2019: An old classic. It used to be #1, but newer halos look better. Still very rare. (~2M)
⚖️ B-Tier (Mid Tiers)
The average “Rich Player” has one of these.
- Starlight (Spring 2023): Very cute star/dog design. Stable value. (~1.3M)
- Corrupt Halo (2018): One of the oldest. It has a glitchy purple glow. Cult following. (~900k – 1M)
- Valentine’s 2019: The “Old Val.” It’s lower detail but very nostalgic. (~850k)
- Mermaid 2019: A bit clunky, but rare. (~900k)
📉 C-Tier / D-Tier (Low Tiers)
These are the “Entry Level” halos. If you are farming diamonds to buy your first halo, aim for these.
- Winter 2018 / Winter 2020: Very common. They look okay, but there are thousands of them in circulation. (~450k – 600k)
- Lucky 2019: Often called the “Rainbow Ring.” Hard to style. (~500k)
- Spring 2020:The Lowest Halo.
- Value: ~350k – 400k.
- Why: It has the most wins of the early halos and it doesn’t glow or move much. It is the “Currency Halo” used to add small value to trades.
❄️ The Current Halo: Glitterfrost (Winter 2025/2026)
- Status: Currently obtainable (or just ended).
- Placement:Unstable.
- Warning: When a halo is “New,” people overpay for it (hype). Once it leaves the fountain, the price usually drops because everyone realizes how many people won it.
- Advice: Do not trade an established High Tier (like Val 21) for the newest halo until the value stabilizes in February.
🚩 How to Avoid “Exploited” Halos
In the past, hackers injected fake halos into the game. If you wore one, you got banned.
In 2026, Royale High’s anti-cheat is much better, but you should still be careful.
- The “Particle Check”: Ask the trader to wear the halo. If the particles (sparkles/ghosts) are not moving or are glitching out, do not trade for it.
- The Badge: Check their Roblox Profile. Do they have the badge for winning the halo? (Note: They might have traded for it, so this isn’t 100% proof, but it helps).
- “Too Good to Be True”: If someone offers you Witching Hour for your Spring 2020, they are either scamming you (link scam) or the halo is exploited/duped. Decline.
⛲ How to Win the Fountain (The Answers)
You can’t trade? You have to rely on luck.
- The Strat: Go to the Fountain in Campus 3 or 4.
- The Answers: The answers change every season!
- Do not guess.
- Search Twitter (X) or TikTok for “Royale High Fountain Answers Winter 2026”.
- Look for the chart made by Mafalda or similar influencers. They track which story options give a “+Halo” chance.
- Note: Even with the right answer, the chance is like 0.1%.
💡 Trading Advice
Sell in February.
Valentine’s Day (February) is the biggest inflation event in Royale High. Everyone wants pink items and halos for their outfits.
If you have a Valentine’s Halo or Pink Sets (like Darling Valentina), hold them until Feb 1st. The price will skyrocket. Sell them then for maximum profit.
